I am sure you have been wondering where I have been and have lots of questions for me. Well, I am happy to let you know that I have just completed my masters yayyy. I am so proud of myself because going back into education after three years was not a joke. But with saying that, I am just happy to be back to my normal life without having to do college work.
Today’s post is all about transitioning into the autumn season. I think it's safe to say our gorgeous summer weather has certainly said its goodbyes. I have been creating some autumn fashion looks for you guys and I hope you will enjoy it.
To me, autumn is all about playing with neutral colours i.e the whites, nudes, browns, khaki or beige. I feel neutral colours bring out the beauty of autumn. I like to match my outfits with the fallen leaves. Also, walking through the wet floors after a rainy day or even when it is very cloudy and you cannot tell if it's night or day. I love walking through the parks and taking in the fresh air as it blows through my face (but sometimes I wish the wind isn’t as heavy because it wouldn’t be cute if my wig blew off 😅).
I love the idea of looking sexy and showing off the curves my mama gave me. It was most definitely love at first sight when I saw this Zara dress. I truly imagined the colour against skin tone and I said in my head (Yassss sis u gotta have this). The simplicity of it, the softness of the material and the way it fits my body made me appreciate it even more. Straight away I knew I had to add it to my autumn collection.
I paired it with a brown jacket I picked up from Newlook last year winter season and my favourite boots that I also picked up last year from Zara.
Oh before I go, let's talk about this bag! Stradivarius are simply amazing. Every accessory in stores and online are just too beautiful. But this bag did it for me, the round shape gave this look a totally different vibe.
Let me know if you will be trying neutral looks this autumn.
